At around 2:30 p.m. on May 14th, police arrested 43-year-old Christopher Conaway for Criminal Solicitation of a Felony and Attempted Murder. His arrest comes after police investigated a May 10th report that Conaway had attempted to solicit the killing of another individual. In exchange for the solicited killing, Conaway offered up the personal information of two individuals which would allow the solicited killer to steal their identities. During the investigation, police located various pieces of evidence to corroborate the report. The RCPD is being purposefully vague to comply with Marsy’s Law in order to protect the rights of the victims involved in the case. No further details will be offered by the RCPD, and any inquiries about the case should be directed to the Pennington County States Attorney’s Office.
