You’ve heard of a “citizen’s arrest” and now citizens can give each other parking tickets!
By parking tickets, though, they don’t mean just mean notes or those funny notes that are supposed to look like tickets. No, sir, they mean actual, enforceable parking tickets!
A council member in D.C. proposed the idea to be able to give each other the tickets using their phones…because this won’t end in a hot mess at all!
Apparently he says it’s to protect the public from people who block bike lanes, fire hydrants, and crosswalks but come on, man…people can’t be trusted!
