Here’s The Most Awkward 20 Seconds Of Softball Broadcasting Ever

If you’re going to be doing play-by-play for a sport, you should probably do your research on important people in that sport…

Broadcaster, Mark Neely, must not have gotten the memo when working with color commentator Danielle Lawrie during Michigan and James Madison’s NCAA Softball Tournament game.

Neely and Lawrie were talking pitchers struggling with being hard on themselves, Lawrie speaking from experience and sharing she was lucky enough to have the help of sports psychologist Ken Ravizza.

Well Neely apparently didn’t know Ravizza passed away last year because he awkwardly said, “still out there, doing what they do best—doing what he does best.”

To which Lawrie awkwardly had to let him know Ravizza had passed away…

YIKES.
