Meteorologist Not Sorry For Cutting Into NBA Playoffs For Tornado Coverage

Well, it happened again folks! Local news stations are having to explain themselves to sports fans for trying to do their jobs and save lives.

It happened during the Masters when a meteorologist actually received death threats for cutting in with a split screen for a tornado watch and now there’s a similar situation in Virginia!

A Virginia TV station did split screen coverage of a tornado during Game 7 of the NBA semifinals between Denver vs Portland, and people called in to complain.

The meteorologist in this situation said he and the station are absolutely not sorry, played the calls on air, and said they’d always break in with coverage of a dangerous storm.

If you are genuinely that concerned about your sports maybe just go to the games and not get mad at people trying to save your life…
