Remember back in middle school when you wanted to swear in front of the teacher but didn’t want to get in trouble? A great solution at age 13 was the swear-cough… cursing while choking a bit just to “mask” the word.
Well, a city council in Florida was interrupted by what could have been a cough but also could have been “a**hole.”
An easy mistake, of course.
Apparently legislative aid Carrie Henriquez wasn’t too happy with the councilman Luis Viera who she was passing because he won the bid over her boss.
Viera confronted her afterwards but she claims that she is sick and simply coughed.
All we have to say is *cough*.
