Unless you’ve got some serious blinders on, it’s no secret our way of life is having a negative impact on our planet and now a new report suggests the rate we are going could end human civilization.
The harrowing report comes from Breakthrough National Centre for Climate Restoration, a think-tank in Melbourne, Australia.
They say, “planetary and human systems [are] reaching a ‘point of no return’ by mid-century, in which the prospect of a largely uninhabitable Earth leads to the breakdown of nations and the international order.”
It’s pretty terrifying and goes on to break down how just two or three degrees Celsius will cause the collapse of key ecosystems and life as we know it…
