This Is Absolutely The Mountain Helicopter Rescue From Hell

A woman in her 70s was injured while hiking Piestwea Peak in Phoenix so first responders decided the best way to get her out of there was through an air lift.

Turns out, riding an ATV probably would have been a smoother ride!

They get her on a stretcher and hoist her up on the copter and as she is dangling the stretcher with the woman still on it, mind you, starts spinning like crazy!

Apparently it is actually a semi-normal thing where the line supposed to prevent spinning during a hoist rescue just doesn’t do its job, leaving the injured person to also end up with vertigo!
