Ryan Kirkpatrick of Napa, California heard that sometimes students can’t pay for lunch at school and go hungry and figured out a way to help!
First, he wanted to know more about the lunch situation, so his mom emailed the school board and found out that some students are in debt.
Ryan’s class owed about $74 for lunches which definitely does not seem like it should be all-too-much for the school to just cover but that’s a whole other debate.
He then decided that he wanted to show his peers that someone cared about them and paid for his entire class’s debt with his own hard-earned allowance.
We think this is so awesome and Ryan is going to go so far in life!
So be nice, be like Ryan!
