A couple months ago, a 26-year-old man near Phoenix, Arizona was threatening to jump from an overpass when a cop persuaded him not to.
Officer Aaron Ron Little told the man from the other side of the fence that he would give him a hug if he came back to the other side.
Little told the man people call him “Ron” and just kept persuading him with that hug.
His bodycam captured the whole time, including the moment the man came over and got that hug he was promised.
The last thing you hear on the video is Little asking “What’s going on?” as they walk back to the patrol car.
