Phil Mickelson has a new series on Instagram TV called “Phireside With Phil” where he shares stories from over the years of his career and this first one is wild!
In the inaugural episode, he tells what we can assume is one of his favorite stories from the Memorial Tournament in 2006.
There was a rain delay and when all the golfers reconvened the next morning, Mickelson said he was approaching the sixth hole when he saw the tour official cutting a new hole.
Mickelson was confused because the round wasn’t over and they’re supposed to play the same pin position as everyone else to which the official responded “someone took a dump in the cup!”
All these years we thought golf was the classy sport, boy were we wrong!
