This might be your worst nightmare. And if it’s not, it will be now.
A woman fell asleep on her Air Canada flight, like most people do, and woke up in a pitch black, cold, locked-up plane.
She fumbled her way in the dark to the front but the cabin door was locked. She then used her last bit of battery on her phone to text one of her friends saying “I just woke up alone in plane. OMG” then her cell died….
On one end, her friend called the police and let them know. But on the woman’s end, she made her way to the cockpit and fumbled around eventually found a flashlight.
She then got the door open and was able to signal a baggage handler from the outside and escaped.
So, yeah…Good luck sleeping on planes trusting they’ll wake you up when you land now.
