On July 28th at around 3:55 p.m., police responded to the 700 block of Flormann Street for multiple reports of a gunshot heard in the area. Police made contact with witnesses who said they saw a man running on foot who was being chased by a Ford F-150 pickup. At one point during the incident, witnesses reported hearing a gunshot come from the area of the runner and the F-150. Witnesses to the earlier shooting positively identified Gonzales as the driver/shooter involved. Gonzales was placed under arrest for Reckless Discharge of a Firearm. It is unknown at this time who the second party is in the incident, however, police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
