Recently Costas was asked at what point in his long career did he realize he was more than a broadcaster and instead a brand or an icon.
Turns out, there is a pretty significant moment that comes to Costas’ mind and it happens to be Ludacris!
No..really, like the rapper Ludacris.
Apparently on his album “Chicken-N-Beer” the track “Hip Hop Quotables” has a line that name-checks Costas as pointed out by his son when he was about 15!
“Now I roll up torpedoes, get blunted with Rastas
For a hefty fee, I’m on your record like Bob Costas”
