Goodwill is a great place to drop off things that no longer bring you joy and give them a chance for a second life for someone else…unless you need to call in a bomb squad to handle it!
That’s what happened when someone decided they would donate their old live mortar shell from World War II to a Goodwill in Placerville, California!
The fine folks at Goodwill ended up calling in a bomb squad to take the relic on down to the nearby Air Force base!
Brings a whole new meaning to “Goodwill is the bomb!”
