James White was out fishing from the shore of Bodega Bay in Sonoma County, California when things got intense his dog, Darby, came to his rescue!
White had left Darby in the car while he threw out a couple lines and ended up hooking a shark!
He pulled the shark into the shallows and as he was getting the hook out, it twisted and bit his leg!
Somehow the dog got out of the car and ran into the water, bit the shark and dragged it away from his owner!
White said people have a hard time believing his story but it’s so incredible, you just can’t make it up!
