A guy with a gun waltzed into a bar in St. Louis the other day expecting everyone would give in pretty easily but one of the bar’s regulars was having none of it.
Tony Tovar was sitting at the bar when the guy pointed his gun at him but he didn’t panic, didn’t move and hardly acknowledged the gunman.
Not even giving up his cell phone he sat there and casually lit up a cigarette which totally threw a wrench in the dude’s plan and he settled for just swiping cash from the register!
“I’m so tired of people in south city trying to muscle their way in with firearms or bad attitude or some kind of aggression,” said Tovar. “I wasn’t gonna comply.”
Tovar doesn’t think it was all-too big of a deal but others at the bar think his actions de-escalated the interaction!
