A 12-year-old boy’s fun day on a trampoline turned into a nightmare when one of the springs came close to taking his life!
He and his friends were just jumping along and all of a sudden one of the six-inch springs shot out “like a bullet” and stuck him in the back.
His family rushed him to the hospital where the boy had to undergo surgery and it took them 10 minutes to get it out!
The young boy is recovering fine, though he said he does sometimes feel like he’s still got the spring in his back.
Now his family is warning about the dangers of “garden toys” like trampolines though we think everyone knows the dangers of them and it’s exactly why kids have to beg for them mercilessly until parents finally give in.
