Frank Abagnale, former con artist portrayed once on the big screen by Leonardo DiCaprio, shared how easy it is for scammers to access all of your most sensitive information and it’s something you usually don’t think twice about.
“If you’re on Facebook, here’s the only things you have to remember — never tell anybody where you were born or your date of birth,” Frank Abagnale said on Yahoo Finance’s The Final Round. “That’s 98% of me stealing your identity. I only need to know those two pieces of information.”
Other tips he shared are pretty common sense like protecting your identity, being careful what you share online and also “shelter your heart” when it comes to online dating.
