Eddie Money passed away peacefully Friday of complications from a heart procedure, just weeks after announcing his stage 4 esophageal cancer diagnosis.
Eddie was training to become a New York City cop when he quit to pursue music and it clearly worked out well for him as he went on to become a legend!
Scoring 11 Top 40 hits in the ’70s and ’80s, Eddie was touring all the way up to July this past summer (2019).
He is survived by his wife Laurie and their five children.
