This woman in Creve Coeur, Missouri is in a fight with her neighbors and the city over being able to keep her three monkeys registered as emotional support animals.
Texanne McBride-Teahan has been living with and training monkeys for 20 years but once she moved to Creve Coeur, a neighbor saw her animals outside and reported it to the city!
Neighbors all jumped on the bandwagon and the city even cited McBride-Teahan because “non-human primates” are considered “inherently dangerous”.
Her doctor, however, feels the animals are vital to McBride-Teahan’s mental health.
So how many support monkeys are too many?
We guess we’ll find out after the court hearing set for November!
