In a recent interview, with Empire magazine, Martin Scorsese was asked about Marvel movies and said they’re “not cinema” and compared them to theme parks.
While we can agree there definitely is a difference between “true cinema” and superhero movies, why Scorsese felt the need to call out Marvel like that we’re not sure!
Luckily, we don’t need to know what kind of response we should have because Samuel L. Jackson has one for us!
“Films are films. Everybody doesn’t like his stuff either,” Jackson said. “Everybody’s got an opinion, so I mean it’s okay. Ain’t going to stop nobody from making movies.”
