Packers Defeat Detroit Lions With Last-Second Field Goal

Last night on “Monday night Football”, Free Beer’s decision to write off the Detroit Lions proved itself to be a good move!

After a series of not very good moves when the Lions were finally ahead and on the right track to victory, a controversial “hands to the face” penalty the Packers were set up for a field goal that would win them the game.

There are mixed reviews on whether or not the officiating cost Detroit the game but it could also have something to do with their lack of actual touchdowns.

Packers’ kicker, Mason Crosby, made the last second field goal, then immediately ran off the field to do the “Lambeau Leap” into the stands to celebrate the win and Lions fans get to slip back into that all-too comfortable “the Lions lost again” sulk.
