People are saying this Wheel of Fortune guest made things pretty awkward which, yes, there was a short silence but it really wasn’t that bad!
Pat Sajak asked contestant Blair about his family which he, with a straight-face, jokes about how horrible his family is.
“I’ve been trapped in a loveless marriage for the last 12 years to an old battle axe named Kim,” Blair said. “She cursed my life with three step-children… and I have one rotten grandson.”
The audience responded with awkward laughter and slight silence before Blair makes it obvious he was joking and says “I love ’em like nobody’s business.”
We can appreciate a dark joke on a light-hearted game show!
