A common question for high school students is: what do you want to do for a job or go to college for. Well, these kids can rule out any engineering schools from their application letters after a parade float the built collapsed during a school parade.
“We heard some cracking and people screaming, then it all came crashing down.” The float was not build to standards set by the school as it was two stories high, leaving students to come crashing down through 20 feet of 2×4’s and plywood. One student suffered a broken leg and others suffered minor injuries.
