Washington Nationals Win First World Series In Game 7 Against Astros

The Washington Nationals and Houston Astros took the championship all the way to game seven last night where the Nats snagged their first World Series title in franchise history!

Scoring six runs in the final three innings, the Nationals clinched the 7-2 victory making it the first World Series in history where the home team never won a game.

When Nationals’ Founding Principle Owner, Theodore N. Lerner, accepted the trophy he said what they all say, that it’s a dream come true. What makes it even more special though, is this man is 94 years old so it’s been a long time coming for him!
