A recent study has found criminals can really easily hack into “smart homes” with nothing more than a laser pointer!
They just shine the laser through a window, onto any Google Home, Amazon Echo or other smart home device and can access anything connected to it!
Microphones in the devices and a bunch of science makes it possible for the laser to give them access to anything in your home controlled by the devices, your online shopping accounts and more!
We guess the moral here is don’t put these things in your windows!
