Now you could definitely joke here that this is a pretty expensive way to get rid of an employee but it’s just so dang sweet that you’d (maybe) feel like a D.
This 69-year-old man was planning to retire from his job as an auto mechanic next year after paying off his mortgage on his home.
He had worked there since 2006 and is definitely at the age that he should definitely consider putting up the work boots.
His boss knew he was a loyal employee and knew of his plans to retire so he went and paid off his mortgage so he could surprise him with early retirement!
A very kind gesture between a boss and an employee and hopefully they’ll be forever friends!
