No this is not the setup for a bad joke and as far as we know, they weren’t rehearsing for the neighborhood nativity.
A crowd of neighbors definitely crowded around after discovering the three animals and called police to find where they came from!
The police then posted a picture on their Facebook page:
“Does anyone know the owners of these three friends traveling together (towards a Northern star) just East of Goddard? If we cannot locate the owner, we may be halfway towards a live nativity this Christmas season.”
We can definitely say if any of these three animals showed up in our yard we would be pretty excited…which is more than we can say for some of the people in this neighborhood!
Not judging, just bringing facts, like the fact the owner has been found!
