Australia has been dealing with catastrophic brush fires that have killed at least three people, and countless animals.
Through all of that, though, here is at least one “good news” video making the rounds.
It’s a woman who risked her life to rescue a koala in a burning forest!
She runs over and grabs it from the tree the little cutie was clinging to, gets it out of the fire-y forest and douses its body with water.
The little koala looked to be in pretty rough shape but she wrapped it in a blanket and handed it off to first responders to get the professional care it needed!
That little sound it makes is heartbreaking enough to make you want to go rescue every koala in danger.
