Turns out Americans are not the only ones who need a reminder of what constitutes a 911-worthy emergency!
This lady was running late and was not going to make it to Union Station in time to catch her train so she thought she could get one of those “emergency ride services”.
The operator then told her “Well I can assure you we don’t do that” and while the woman calling was confused, she apologized and the operator then told her to call a cab.
Even when stupid people call for stupid reasons, Canadians are so polite.
Oh, Canada.
