A traffic reporter in Kansas City, Nick Vasos, was out sick last Friday after he had oral surgery and little did he know he would go viral for it!
Vasos tried to email only his coworkers to let them know but accidentally CC’d everyone at the station’s parent company.
Soon, almost 200 news stations got the email so their reporters decided to run with it, doing segments telling him to get well soon.
Between the on-air bits, social media posts and, of course, the memes, soon the hashtag “PrayersForNick” went viral!
