A woman’s mother was in a domestic violence situation and needed help so her daughter called 911, like most people should, but she had to get creative.
Wanting to not make it obvious so the abuser was still around when police showed up, she pretended to order a pizza!
The 911 operator was confused at first, and was ready to remind her the purpose of 911 is not for ordering pizzas until he figured it out.
What is normally one of those Facebook rumors ended up actually helping someone which is incredible!
The operator said they are not actually trained in that so it may not work for everyone but if it works for even one person, it’s a success!
