Yesterday, the Miami Dolphins upset the Philadelphia Eagles by beating them 37-31 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The most talked about play of the game came with just under five minutes left in the second quarter when the Dolphins were fourth and goal on the one yard line. Instead of going for it, or lining up in a traditional field goal formation, the Fins opted to do things a little…differently.
The field goal unit was on the field, but with some notable exceptions: punter Matt Haack lined up as the quarterback and kicker Jason Sanders was a wide receiver! The ball was snapped and Haack connected with Sanders for a 1-yard touchdown!
