Whoever said you only burn once wasn’t fair skinned

It might have something to do with that, I’m typically the kind of person who’s naturally pale, or it might be because I haven’t spent any real “fun in the sun” in more years than I can remember. Either way, after taking myself to the lake alone and scorching the blazes out of my back I thought my summer time sunburn woes were behind me since that has faded and peeled. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I spent a few hours walking around and logging some miles for my daily workout in heat more extreme than I had expected. I knew by mile 3 that something was up cause my shoulders were definitely feeling the heat. And sure enough, once I got home I was embraced with that familiar pinkish red hue of sun kissed skin cranked to 11. Okay, it’s really not THAT bad but it is still pretty red on the tops of the shoulders.
