We get it, Alex Rodriguez, AKA A-Rod, is a polarizing figure in the world of sports. However, it seems nobody is as bitter about his success and status than former high school teammate, Doug Mientkiewicz.
As someone who knew A-Rod before the scandals, before J-Lo, before pooping in plain view of a window, before it all, we are sure ol’ Doug probably has lots of valid criticisms on how his former teammate has changed since the glory days. However, we don’t think bragging about the high school team’s group chat and how A-Rod isn’t an active participant is the flex Dougie boy thinks it is.
While he makes some valid points, overall a lot of it seems more self-serving and jealous as hell…but also, does A-Rod deserve it? What do you think?
