During most sporting events where balls or pucks can fly at your face, there’s at least some sort of barrier between the action on the field and fans in the stands.
However, despite protections in place, you should still be on alert…because this could happen.
In this poor woman’s defense, we’re not sure why the usual net is not up, or if there even is one, but during Auburn kickers’ warmups, she took a different ball to the face than she may have been hoping for.
