That moment you take it upon yourself to apologize to someone you may have jilted in the past, only to leave the interaction thinking “never mind, forget you.”
That’s what happened during a recent interaction between Steve Smith and Broncos’ wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
Steve Smith, known for being an aggressive player during his time in the NFL, made comments on his podcast about Jeudy basically being “just a guy” and an “average wide receiver.”
When Smith went to make amends, Jeudy’s reponse was, “[Ninja] I don’t [mess] with you.”
Smith, using his microphone and his platform, rescinded his apology and, as the kids say, “went OFF.”
Wow, Steve Smith killed #Broncos Jerry Jeudy.
Listen to the end: “You’re an average WR. Don’t trade for Jerry Jeudy, because he mentally unable to handle criticism.”
