Recently, as the Calgary Flames faced off against the Vegas Golden Knights, Chris Tanev sacrificed the few teeth he has left to block a shot that was fired at the net by the Knights’ William Karlsson in the third period.
After, Tanev went to the locker room to get 12 stitches, though, his efforts proved to be worth it as the Flames skated away with the 2-1 victory in overtime.
