Earlier this week, we were made aware of a GoFundMe that had been set up by listener John and his wife Ashley for their three-and-a-half year old daughter Mylah. Mylah is autistic and, due to her condition and height, needs a special bed called a Cubby Bed to keep her safe from falling out of bed while she sleeps. Unfortunately, the bed costs about $9,000 and John and Ashley had already been told that their insurance wouldn’t cover the cost.
This sounded like the perfect opportunity for Idiots for Underdogs to step in! So, thanks to the generosity of YOU, the Fancy Idiots, we were able to donate $8,000 to the GoFundMe to help them reach their goal, facilitating the bed for Mylah. We tricked John into playing Dumber Than The Show Trivia this morning (which he won!) and broke the news to him after the game. You can watch the moment below!
