The Daughters of the Nile in Rapid City are putting on their Style Show again this year. This is a great opportunity for you to go out and have a nice tea with your friends and family in a fun and friendly environment.
You will enjoy a nice light lunch you watch some of the Nile Ladies showing off some cute outfits from some local clothing vendors. Daughters of the Nile was founded in 1913 and is open to ladies 18 years of age or older, who are related by birth or marriage to a Shriner, Master Mason, or Daughter of the Nile; or a Majority Member in Good Standing of a Masonic-related organization for girls; or who was a patient, with or without Shrine or Masonic relationship, at a Shriners Hospitals for Children.
With 24,000 members in 137 cities across the country, the Daughters of the Nile are devoted to supporting Shriners Hospitals for Children® through a variety of fundraising activities. In fact, this dynamic group of women has donated more than $45 million dollars to the hospitals. Volunteers also sew quilts, dolls, surgery gowns and more for patients in the hospitals.
Daughters of the Nile wear a distinctive crown for special events and ceremonies.
