“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience” – Elaine Doll-Dunn. Join us Wednesday, January 16 from noon to 1 p.m. at the downtown library (610 Quincy Street, upstairs), and meet marathon runner and motivational speaker Elaine Doll-Dunn. Dunn started running at age 40 completing 125 marathons – totaling 50,000 miles. She founded the Leading Ladies’ Marathon, an all-woman USA Track and Field certified Boston qualifying course marathon through Spearfish Canyon.

Elaine Doll-Dunn earned her PhD in Psychology at age 65 and is the author of five books. She was awarded the Spirit of Dakota award in 2008 and now at 81 years of age, Dunn is working on running half marathons in every state.
