It was the lowest-scoring Super Bowl in history and was a pretty boring game to say the least but the Patriots pulled through in the end, earning the GOAT Tom Brady his SIXTH ring!
Basically the punts were the best part of the game, pretty much the only part of the game, that was all-too exciting especially with Rams’ Johnny Hekker’s 65-yarder breaking the record for the longest in Super Bowl history.
It was not enough in a very defensive game and the score showed it when it took until the final seven minutes of the game to actually get a touchdown on the board thanks to Patriots’ Sony Michel.
The score ended up 13-3 in favor of the Patriots but fans and broadcasters like Tony Romo were quick to point out the lack of excitement
Even the halftime show was just as lackluster as the game, disappointing for those who love Maroon 5, a shirtless, tattooed Adam Levine and even Spongebob.
Yes, even Spongebob’s appearance was disappointing after they had teased the hit song from the show “Sweet Victory” would be featured only to have it be an intro for rapper Travis Scott.
All in all, we guess it was still a memorable night! Even if that means the only thing we remember is how “eh” it was.
