Damion Green refused to vote for himself, claiming it felt narcissistic…despite running and, inherently, thinking he’d be the best at the job.
Turns out, that one vote for himself would have been the one to tie the race as his opponent, Ryan Roth, voted for himself after almost making the same decision as Green. Roth’s wife urged him to just do it, arguing he wouldn’t want to lose by one vote, and that’s exactly how many Roth won by.
