Girl Has Rare Condition Causing Her to Sneeze Nearly 12,000 Times a Day

We’ve all had sneezing fits before, be that during allergy season or something particularly tickly inside your sinuses, but what if it lasted up to 45 minutes?

This young girl started sneezing a few times in a row one day and eventually worked her way up to a painful 20 times a minute, which adds up to upwards of 12,000 times per day.

Back in 2015, her family tried to enlist the help of doctors to figure out why this was happening, only for no allergies, viruses, or anything to be found as the cause.

Living with the condition proved to be difficult for Katelyn Thornley, of course, as she was unable to attend school, continue playing her clarinet, and even struggled eating or drinking.

To sleep, Thornley had to take Benedryl and listen to the Beatles to be able to fall asleep, though, she continued to sneeze in her dreams.
