LA Kings’ Quinton Byfield Becomes First Player to Score Goal Wielding Multiple Sticks

As we get ready for playoff hockey, and continue to celebrate milestones like Ovechkin breaking Gretzky’s goal record, other players continue to have their own standout moments.

Just the other night, the LA Kings were taking on the Seattle Kraken when Kings Centre, Quinton Byfield found himself with two sticks in his hands. Instead of throwing one down or succumbing to the chaos, he made one of the smoothest, filthiest goals we’ve ever seen.

In a weird twist, Byfield snuck the puck in to get the Kings on the board…for the only goal they’d get that night. But hey, history! Byfield became the first player to ever score a goal with a stick in each hand.
