Rich Eisen pulled up to the SportsCenter anchor desk for the first time in over 20 years and it left him and a bunch of viewers in their feels.
While reminiscing, he choked up and left the seat beside him empty as a sweet nod to his longtime co-host and pal, Stuart Scott, who sadly passed away in 2015 after battling cancer.
Eisen dusted off the old intro music from their heyday, replayed some favorite clips of the two of them and called Scott his “TV wife”.
A very heartfelt tribute that felt like catching up with an old friend. Let’s hope Eisen can keep these good vibes going as he continues his return to ESPN.
