Earlier this week we talked about an alleged murderer who confessed to killing his parents during a live TV interview in Albany and now, we have another criminal caught on the news!
In Colorado, a local news station was filming a segment about robbery suspect, Richard Applequist, who was suspected of multiple incidents in the area. To CBS’ Justin Adams’ surprise, just as he was describing Applequist, he had to do a double-take as he saw him walking across the street behind them.
Moving in a way that’s reminiscent of that footage of Bigfoot we’ve all seen before, Applequist didn’t seem to mind that the cameras were all RIGHT THERE and when the CBS crew alerted police to his presence, he was arrested 10 minutes later and taken into custody.
This has to be the fastest way the news has gone from “developing story” to “case closed.”
