It all started when her sister posted on social media about being up late praying for Dolly and calling on other “prayer warriors” to do the same.

Of course, this led to speculation that Dolly was not okay as it came on the heels of a recent cancellation of her Vegas concert(s).

Dolly, always looking out for us, took some time as she was filming some content for the Grand Ol’ Opry to record a special message letting us know she was okay. After the passing of her husband, she said she had let a lot of things fall to the wayside when it came to taking care of herself so she just wanted to be closer to home to get caught up with her health.

“I wanted you to know that I’m not dying!” She concluded, “I’m not ready to die yet. I don’t think God is through with me, and I ain’t done working.”
