Car Thief Turns Around Upon Discovering One-Year-Old in Vehicle He Tried Stealing

It’s one of every parent’s worst nightmare and, similarly, one for every car thief out there too! We’re talking about a car being stolen with a child still inside.

That’s what happened at this Brevard County gas station when a woman ran inside, leaving her one-year-old in the backseat of her Camry. Out of nowhere, a guy hops in and starts to drive off in the Toyota but suddenly stops and reverses the vehicle back into the gas station as he realizes he’s about to car from carjacking to kidnapping!

The woman comes running out, yelling at the guy and already on the phone with 911.

While the security footage plays like a perfect silent film, it didn’t play out well for this guy as he faces charges of “grand theft of a motor vehicle” and “kidnapping confinement under 13.”
