We all spend so much time lamenting how much time teens spend on screens today but this Florida golf course probably wishes this bored kid would have stuck with TikTok over destroying one of their greens.
This 17-year-old high schooler confessed to the damage, saying they were bored and “didn’t think there was anything else to do at 2:30 in the morning.”
So, in his mind the “only thing to do” was to do donuts in a truck on one of The Club at Venetian Bay’s greens.
The result? SEVEN THOUSAND square feet of pristine turf destroyed, leaving about $160,000 in damage…all because this kid wanted to work on the wrong kind of drive.
He now faces a second-degree felony charge and likely at least FORE months probation.
